Get certified - become an SSI Open Water Diver!!
Learn the theory, master essential skills in the pool, and complete four open water dives to gain confidence and comfort underwater.
Upon completion, you'll be certified to dive independently with a qualified buddy to depths of up to 18 meters, anywhere in the world.
Requirements:
Minimum age: 10 years
Ability to swim and be in good health
Academic study, final exam (min. 80%), pool/confined water training, water fitness evaluation, and 4 open water dives
Medical clearance for pre-existing conditions (MUST read, fill out, and sign the standard Medical Statement)
Students under 15 will be certified as Junior Open Water Divers.
