Advanced Open Water Diver

If you’re not sure which specialty programs are the best fit for you, the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Program is the perfect opportunity! In this program, you’ll have the chance to try deep diving, underwater navigation, and three additional specialties of your choice before committing to a full specialty course. It’s a great way to discover the value of advanced training and how it can enhance your diving adventures – all around the stunning volcanic landscapes of Terceira Island.

During the program, you will experience five different specialties, completing one open water training dive for each after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI instructor. By participating in this program, you’ll have complete freedom to explore different areas of interest. You can complete the full specialty trainings at any time in the future and credit your Advanced Open Water Diver training toward them.

What’s included:

• Briefing & debriefing for each dive

• 5 open water adventure dives from different specialties (deep diving, underwater navigation are mandatory)

• Digital certification as SSI Advanced Open Water Diver

Requirements:

• Open Water Diver (or Junior OW Diver) certification

• Meet the minimum age and training level for each dive

• Medical Statement for any pre-existing conditions
