The Experience:
Our 3–4 hour excursions offer the chance to swim with wild dolphins 2–3 times during the trip. Sometimes, multiple species are present at once! Observing dolphins from a boat is already unforgettable, but here in Terceira Island, you can take it a step further – and swim among them.
How It Works:
- Briefing on Land: learn about dolphin behavior and biology and safety instructions for the boat and water
- Gear Provided (Free of Charge): mask & snorkel, short or full wetsuit (seasonal) and fins
- Boat Trip: just a short 50-meter walk from our center! Guided by our on-land spotter, we head to the dolphins’ location. If the group is calm and receptive, you’ll enter the water two at a time, always following our expert crew's instructions to ensure a safe and respectful encounter.

- Be comfortable in the open sea.
