Basic Diver Program (Pool and Ocean)

Where we do it:
We start at the swimming pool and afterward, we`ll go diving at the Archaeological Underwater Park of Angra do Heroísmo city, where we`ll easily enter the water from a little harbor. This is the best place in Terceira Island to do your first dive because is a possible start in shallow waters and progressively descent, giving you the possíbility to visit an old “shipwreck” located just a few meters from land, with a lot to see.

Note: If weather and/or sea conditions do not allow this activity in the mentioned place, your instructor will choose another location with equivalent depth and safety characteristics.

How we do it:
This activity begins with an explanation of the basic concepts and technics to use underwater during the first practice session in the swimming pool. After you feel comfortable with all the scuba diving skills and with the new aquatic environment its time to go into the sea, always accompanied by an individualized instructor. All this contributes so that the customer can enjoy a truly unforgettable experience.

Requisites:
- Ability to swim.
- Medical Clearance for any pre-existing conditions (read, fill and sign the standard Medical Statement).
